Christmas Morning!

I have to write a little something about the miracle of Christmas this year...I was HOME!! It was the first day since my discharge that I made my way out of the bedroom and onto the couch! Santa left goodie-filled stockings on the boys' bedroom doors and they were so thrilled with the chocolate and new toothbrushes that it did not cross their sweet little minds that there could possibly be more waiting downstairs! When we made our way to the living room- Santa had also left piles of toys; catcher's masks, footballs, fire station (Tommy had no interest in anything else after spotting this one!!), rescue helicopter, books, puzzles, basketball t-shirts, and a tee for kicking the football (Charlie's favorite)! Cool remote race cars from Grandma and Grandpa were also unwrapped! The catcher's masks take on many roles in this house- race car helmets, hockey masks, football helmets, and, yes. baseball catcher's masks! We had a quiet day with a nice visit from Bernard and Mary. We look forward to all of the miracles that the new year will bring!
