Welcome March!

We are all so excited to see the sunshine this week! The babies have all recovered from their bout of pneumonia and hospital stay last week and we are happy they are back to their smiling, active little selves and are finally healthy! It is so hard to believe that my little babies turn ONE tomorrow!!!!! It has been quite a year and time definitely has flown by. We all enjoyed Grandma Sheila's stay and a fun-filled visit from my sister and her family to celebrate this joyous occasion. The boys sure did enjoy time with their cousins and the babies loved the daunting attention they received.
Our little Andy man's personality has exploded during the past few weeks! He is a jolly little guy with a true passion for playing ball! He loves to play catch and give "hi-fives" to any passerby.
Ellie is still our princess with tons of tenacity, animation and charm. She loves "singing" songs, dancing, and playing with all of her brothers!
Luke is a calm force among the three little ones. He is a giver and not a fighter - especially when Ellie comes around and takes everything he is playing with! He is always smiling and watches his big brothers' every move...and is more than ready to join them in any ball game!
Charlie and Tommy are still playing hoops nonstop and it is quite the site watching them create plays, practice drills and even master their dunking skills! There is never a dull moment at the Auge house!

What a year!

It has been one unforgettable year! It is so amazing how one year can hold so many emotions. With January 2010 being filled with complete fear, uncertainty, and hope as I spent 112 days on bed rest with the triplets. March was definitely a month of joy as our three little miracles entered the world and came home to our family. April, May and June were wonderful months...I think! As a mother of newborn triplets and two very active little boys- I fully admit that these months were a complete blur. We had a nice summer and loved watching our trio grow and thrive and our boys thoroughly enjoyed the great outdoors and a couple of parties with family and friends. The holidays, always a magical time of year, were spent with loved ones and little ones! We welcome another year and look forward to the love, laughter and fun that continue to fill our days!

Christmas Blessings!

It has been such a joyous holiday season and we have enjoyed the beautiful snow and the holiday spirit that surrounds us!

Charlie and Tommy performed at their preschool Christmas program last week and did a fabulous job! The boys are really looking forward to Santa's visit on Christmas Eve, but decided to send Santa a letter instead of sitting on his lap this year.... The babies probably would have preferred to do the same!

The triplets are now NINE months old and SO FUN and VERY MOBILE! Luke is the leader of the pack and has two teeth with a third on the way :) He is crawling everywhere and he is quick! Ellie is also on the go and loves exploring. She is very much a girly girl that loves her bling and is attracted to everyone's earrings and necklaces....all things that sparkle! Our sweet Andy cannot yet crawl, but can roll and shimmy his way to any desired toy destination!

We feel so blessed this Christmas and hope you and your families have a special holiday season!

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Happy Holidays! With the beautiful snow outside this morning, our family is gearing up for the joyous season ahead. Here is our trio in holiday outfits from Tutu4Tots.com - Thanks Heidi and Sara!!! There is nothing like the first snow of the season! Tommy had a great time playing in the snow this morning while Charlie played hoops inside with his new basketball from the Gopher game with daddy last night!

Happy 4th Birthday, Tommy!!!

It is hard to believe that Tommy turned 4 last week! Where does the time go? He is such a sweetheart and is really enjoying all of the birthday celebrations we have had over the last couple of weeks. He wanted a football party, so we decided to center it around a Viking's game. Here is a picture of his fabulous cake and all of the super-fans that attended the party in Vikings attire :)

It is truly football season and Tim and the boys LOVE playing football outside as much as possible. Tommy and Charlie set up plays and love to tackle daddy and score touchdowns, of course! Charlie and Tommy both sported authentic football helmets and jerseys for Halloween :)

Our three little monkeys are doing great! They are SO CLOSE to crawling and are getting around via rolling and scooting. We had a fun time in Des Moines trick or treating with cousins while visiting Grandma and Grandpa! The weather was a beautiful 65 degrees and a good time was had by all!

Our Sweethearts!

It is hard to believe that October has arrived and I love the crisp air and the beauty of the changing leaves...the true miracles of the season. It is just a wonder what a year can bring thinking back to last year at this time. Tim and I had just begun our nanny search and were preparing for the inevitable bed rest that I would be on in the months ahead. Along with the anxiety of a triplet pregnancy, the risks of the flu epidemic were apparent and alarming. The boys and I made a mad dash trip to Iowa to receive the H1N1 vaccination so we could resume normal life for the short time I had left vertical before mandatory bed rest. The trials and tribulations of the year are such a blur and I count my blessings every day. There is a new sense of peace - love, health, family and friends.

Charlie and Tommy started preschool last month and are having a blast! They are enjoying their independence and time with friends.

Our babies are now six months old! They are growing SO FAST! It is amazing to see their little personalities bloom and watch as they develop at such a similar pace. They have all learned to smile, laugh, roll over, giggle, and reach within a day of each other. They are so fun and interactive and Charlie and Tommy always have an audience of six little adoring eyes!

As for the kids:

Charlie is full of zest every day and I am always amazed at his never-ending energy and eager attitude! He is really enjoying school, drawing, writing and all sports, of course!

Tommy really likes going to school and seeing his teachers and new little buddies. He loves his train table, fire trucks and playing sports with Charlie.

Luke is still our cuddle bug with the puppy dog eyes that are hard to resist! He is always quick to flash his charming smile and talk to you with his playful chatter.

Ellie is our little princess who is such a content, cheery baby and she LOVES her older brothers. When they are near she is in high alert and watches their every move with complete adoration!

Andy is our gentle soul who is so easy going and peaceful. He finds his little thumb to pacify himself and rarely makes a peep. He has such a sweet demeanor and a twinkle in his eye - a true joy.

We have had a fun and active month with trips to a Twin's game, the pumpkin patch, the arboretum, as well as our familiar strolls to the neighborhood parks with the baby train! Life is good and we are embracing our time in the beautiful outdoors!

Happy 5th Birthday, Charlie!!

It is hard to believe that our little guy is FIVE years old! We feel so blessed to have such a wonderful son that brings joy to our every day. Charlie enjoyed his special day and we had a fun celebration with his aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins! Charlie is really looking forward to the upcoming year with soccer league, basketball camp, school, and he especially can't wait for the possibility of losing his first tooth!

The boys had a blast with their cousins at Charlie's birthday party!
