Yesterday, we went into the Dr. for a check on the cerclage. Unfortunately, my cervix went from 2.0 cm after surgery to 1 cm yesterday. However, my cervix is still closed! I am only 23 weeks and on the brink of viability, so we were sent directly to Abbott so I could receive the first betamethazone shot to develop the babies' lungs. I go in today for shot #2. My contractions have remained between 3-4 per hour. We were able to get confirmation via ultrasound that baby B and C are BOYS! Baby A had legs closed so.....we will have to wait and see! I am enjoying every second at home with my sweethearts! Tommy is my little bed buddy and rarely leaves my side during the day :) He brings his toys, books, and even his meals up to my room to enjoy! Charlie visits periodically throughout the day-in between his hockey, basketball and football games in the basement! We are so thankful for all of your prayers and support! It truly is day by day and Tim and I have found much comfort in the prayer by St. Francis de Sales:
Do not look forward to what might happen tomorrow;
the same everlasting Father, who cares for you today,
will take care of you tomorrow and every day.
Either He will shield you from suffering,
or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace, then, and put aside all anxious thoughts
and imaginings.
Do not look forward to what might happen tomorrow;
the same everlasting Father, who cares for you today,
will take care of you tomorrow and every day.
Either He will shield you from suffering,
or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace, then, and put aside all anxious thoughts
and imaginings.
